Job description
To sustain constant growth, our organisation is currently looking for an accountant/bookkeeper.
As an accountant/bookkeeper, you are an important part of the foundation of our existing and future success. Will you join the challenge?
Your permanent workplace is Ostend, a few metres from the Ostend beach, but regular travel to the other sites may also occur.

If you have experience in accountancy from A-Z and have the necessary experience in the accounting department, then you might be the person we are looking for.
You will be joining an exciting and rapidly evolving organisation where one day will never be the same as another but this is a sample of your main tasks:
- You are responsible for the daily bookings one or more companies
- You assist the monthly closing
- Review of financial balance sheet with corresponding reconciliations, as well as intercompany reconciliations
- Administrative tasks for one or more companies
- Preparation of ad hoc reports for wider management
Profile
As a future accountant for our international group, we are looking for in you:
You obtained a degree in accountancy or another economic field and have a solid basic experience as an accountant.
We deliberately do not ask for a minimum number of years of experience because it is important to us that you fit within our hands-on, driven organisation.

- Monitor cash and validate its reliability
- Coding and entering invoices, bank statements, supporting documents
Perform the reconciliation check on bank accounts - Calculating commissions
Monitor and account for commercial results - Updating the parameters of accounting systems (social contribution rates, etc.)
- Preparing the constitutive elements of wages, invoicing and payment orders
- Monitoring and recording the company's revenues (entering customer payments, preparing invoices, reminders, etc.)
- Preparation and execution of statutory tax and social security returns
