- Together with the team, you will be responsible for welcoming guests
- You provide guests with an atmospheric and culinary experience through your personal and professional advice, tailored to their needs
- You will be responsible for selecting an interesting range of wines
- You liaise with (potential) suppliers
- You try to exceed guests' expectations in a correct but also informal way
- You keep the wine cellar orderly and stocked
- You will rotate in the venue: preparing the mise-en-place, taking orders and serving drinks and dishes.
Profile
What do we expect from you? You are a team player with a neat appearance, customer-friendly, driven, fluent in Dutch - French - English and have at least 3 years' experience. In addition, you have:
- Good wine knowledge
- Do you have a good knowledge of level 1 (W SET level 1)
Job-related Competences
- Monitoring product stocks, identifying shortages
Placing orders - Elaborate the wine and beverage list according to the type of cuisine and geographical region
- Bringing the chosen wine to temperature, decanting, ...
Choosing the appropriate glasses
Serving the customer - Offering the wine list, advising customers and taking orders
- Organising the cellar according to origin, age of the wine, packaging and way of preservation (aging, immediate consumption, ...)
